Thrills for the Adventurous

Puerto Plata’s most precious adventure: climb the 27 Charcos of Damajagua. First, there will also be a stop to try organic coffee and chocolate. Then, a day offering hiking (25 minutes) and adventure through lush forests while crossing bridges and discovering Dominican flora, before reaching the rocky top of a hill from where you will start your journey down, jumping or sliding through a series of waterfalls. At the end, you will enjoy a delicious typical Dominican lunch. On the way back, we will make a short stop at the Cigar factory and fruit plantation, to really immerse yourself in the culture. A perfect activity for adults and children over 8 years old! *Must bring swimming clothes and water shoes. If you don't have any water shoes, you may rent them on site.
